Simple answers to leaning walls, trapped water problems, and building structures that never move.
Walls don't fail because the soil is too heavy—they fail because of trapped water. When heavy rain falls, the ground behind the wall turns into heavy, wet mud. If that water has nowhere to go, it builds up immense hydrostatic pressure that slowly pushes the entire wall forward.
Most walls lean because of trapped water. We install High-Flow Ag-Lines and Geofabric Filters to move water away fast, protecting your wall from heavy mud pressure and collapse.
Old timber sleepers naturally rot, warp, and weaken when buried in damp dirt for years. Once the wood begins to decay or gets eaten by termites, the structural backbone of the wall disappears, making it highly susceptible to sudden collapses during storm seasons.
Tired of timber walls rotting or attracting termites? We only use Galvanized Steel H-Posts and Reinforced Concrete. It is a permanent solution that stays straight and strong for decades.
Any wall holding up earth near boundary lines, driveways, or heavy building foundations is a serious load-bearing structure. Slapping together a quick landscaping fix without calculating the proper weight distribution can lead to severe property damage and legal liabilities.
Every wall we build is backed by a 6-Year Workmanship Warranty and follows Australian Engineering Standards. You get a certified structure, not just a quick "landscaping" fix.
The old wall was leaning and ready to fall. This happened because there was no drainage (Ag-line) behind the wall. When it rained, the soil got heavy like mud and pushed against the wall. The owner was worried about the wall collapsing into the neighbor's yard.
We built a new, stronger wall using reinforced concrete sleepers and galvanized steel posts. We did deep site research to test the soil. Most importantly, we installed a full Ag-line drainage system with blue metal rocks to make sure water never pushes against the wall again.
| WORK ITEM | INVESTMENT |
|---|---|
| Concrete Sleeper Structural System | $5,550.00 |
| Engineered Site Research & Design | $1,850.00 |
| Ag-Line Drainage System (10Lm) | $1,450.00 |
| Blue Metal Backfill & Geofabric | $950.00 |
| TOTAL PROJECT VALUE | $9,800.00 |
The new wall is solid and safe. By using concrete and steel instead of wood, the wall will not rot. The new drainage system keeps the soil dry and light. The project is fully certified and adds value to the property. We build for long-term safety, not just for looks.
